He does love her and it would be just as heartbreaking for him to see Lyn in such a state, because tbh he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he thought that HE was the one that’s holding her back from her freedom. it’s not a life sentence or anything, Lyn’s sense of freedom is just so important to me but I know he’d do his best

Hector is a deeply, deeply empathetic person…I think he would never forgive himself if she was that miserable and it was his fault.
But Ostia isn’t as stuffy as a lot of Lycian states, they have less pomp, so I don’t think Lyn would really have that much trouble being “herself” at court. Not like if she stayed to rule Caelin, or married Eliwood or whatever.
But yeah I think it will always be a struggle with Lyn because she does love the plains and her people so much, it would be a sacrifice to do anything else. A sacrifice with its own benefits, but still.

I was so thrown off when I heard them pronounce caeda like that in warriors the first time and I honestly had to turn the game off because I couldn’t believe it

that is weird! (nothing is as weird as them deciding Sheeda’s English name is “Seeda” though)
also you should be glad I played FE7 long before I took Italian though or I would be calling it “li-chi-ah” instead
I still say “Lu-chia” for Lucia since I didn’t play Tellius until college and nothing will ever correct that for me XD
