To all those authors who think happy endings are overrated- THEY’RE NOT, THEY’RE FINE, BETTER ACTUALLY THAN HAVING AN AMAZING BUILD UP, THEN HAVING YOUR HEART SUDDENLY RIPPED OUT AND BEING LEFT FEELING EMPTY AND USED but of course that is just my opinion, call me unadventurous if you will…

@lanonima sometimes I write unhappy endings for my fanfics XD

I have nothing against unhappy endings! I occasionally really, really love them. I just have no interest in writing them. 🙂

Now Available!

Seneria was born to be the next Solaris, one of the two most powerful mages in the Seven Kingdoms. However, she never gets the respect she thinks she deserves. When she receives a threatening letter from the Ghost, the realm’s number one mage enemy, she sees a perfect chance to prove herself. Seneria learns two things very quickly. One, being Solaris isn’t as easy as she thought it would be; and two, the Ghost is nothing as simple as the rogue mage everyone assumed he was.

The Ghost, the first book in a new middle grade fantasy series is now available everywhere! I’m very pleased to announce my first ever book! Both myself and my wonderful illustrator, @haksart, have worked really hard to make this a product we can be proud of. Please check it out, we both appreciate your support!

GODDDDD that’s so good…I actually do have a version of LM where she is a literally sea goddess and it’s something…

Really? tell me about it! It sounds so cool! I was reading a manga while ago about a merman who was King of the Sea so I really love the idea of it like

this all powered being humbling themselves because they fell so hard for this one tiny human who should mean nothing but they DO

it’s really a neat idea

SORRY I went to bed right after this lol.

In my story LM here is Asherah, the goddess of the endless sea and her girl, Daire, is the first human to ever discover there’s an ocean here, and a goddess, and ends up becoming a priestess.

Asherah is in love with Daire and keeps giving her knowledge for her people, because that’s what Daire cares about (so, swimming, fishing, boats, basically everything to do with the ocean, and eventually, magic as well).

It goes over a couple of generations where Asherah has to watch Daire get old and die, and be reborn not knowing anything about her. But Asherah can’t stop giving her gifts anyway.

In the end she goes to her uncle the Great God and begs for him to make her mortal.

I haven’t gotten any farther than that yet, so I don’t know what the actual “trial” is BUT it’s gonna be good. 😀

I wanna write a book about gryphons but I think at this point I’m too influenced by Rachel Neumeier (her Griffin Mage triology is the raddest shit I s2g) that like…can I actually write something and not be her, but gayer?

I wanna write about gryphons….

New writer ask meme: based on my body of work, what’s something you’d like to see me try to write? (I’m thinking a trope, a genre, maybe a fandom I’m not in or have never written for but seems like my style/a challenge, but dragging me for things I’ve left unfinished is totally acceptable also.)

This isn’t completely up to date since I don’t have a final word count for Ghost v FINAL yet, but hey.

Almost two million words.

And (counting that stupid Aywas novel I do NOT have pictured here) I’ve written twenty books so that’s cool. I ought to go back to some of the others.

I have high hopes for Quis Abyssus someday resembling something readable. and Elder has a lot of promise if I can get my world-building ducks in a row.

Oh, the unfinished ones…Spider Queen I promise I’ll return to you eventually. And come up with a better title.

haksart:

The cover is done! I still have the insides to finish, which i may share some details, but the book will have to be bought to see them in all their glory. (Plus the book is amazing so… good reason to read that too)

OH YEAH LOOK AT MY CUTE BOOK COVER

Hawk is the best this looks so adorable!

We’re on track to publish this year *thumbs up*
