For her I didn’t want to go medieval but just to make her look a little more like she belonged. So I made her clothing cover a bit more and darkened the colors a lot (she still looks like she’s wearing modern pants…oops…)
I gave her boots instead of those ridiculous sandals. Since the other crows we’ve seen all wear at least two layers of clothing and Kilvas must be pretty cold I also gave her a waist wrap she can use as a shawl if she decides to go home.
I tried something new with the wings on this one which just…did not work so then I colored them flat black and had to try and re-ink the lines. The wings are a mess but at least I learned something.
Also since I’m basing these off the characters’ official art…why does Vika look so disinterested? Her pose and expression are both so “not really sure I want to be here right now but I don’t care enough to be unhappy about it”. Vika, please.
Today I’ve got three sprites commissioned by shinyv, who wanted Soren both as a Mage from FE9 and as a Wind Mage from FE10 as well as Ike as a Ranger from FE9/Super Smash Bros Brawl! shinyv was very generous and insisted that I take payment for my sprite work this time, so I thank you so much and really hope you like how all three turned out!
