Some photos from the party last night. Photo groups with the roommies and the neighbors. And in some cases, both. The Joker in the group will be living with us too in a few months.

Also for a while I stole the Ice Queen’s cape because I was a sad cold baby all night.

So I made a skirt! Funny story, I started it four years ago and got super close to finishing it and then didn’t. So I did today.

It’s my first project. I learned lots of things like how to sew in a zipper and how to make a ruffle and how not to make a waistband. OH WELL it looks cute.

There was supposed to be a second layer of ruffles, on the dark blue, but I decided not to because I’m lazy and also I didn’t want to cover the other fabric. I have to trim some loose threads but I might wear it to work this week. I may as well get some use out of it.

BTW it’s completely hand sewed because what are sewing machines?
