I’m pretty sure Hector gets told to stop talking more than any other character in this game, and this game has Serra in it

It physically pains Hector to admit he found a fight difficult

Not yet but she will be! (I appreciate that they replaced Eliwood with Lyn instead of Hector which would have been more normal considering that E. is the main character)

My memory card shorted after this and I lost my photos but basically they have a conversation where Hector vaguely apologizes/recognizes her concerns in a rude sort of way (see: how Hector does everything) and Lyn is just like “hey, I haven’t complained! I’m fine” despite the fact that she’s obviously upset

(Also note that despite being more familiar with Lyn and knowing about her history with bandits, Eliwood hasn’t discussed this with her at all, or even shown any kind of sympathy what-so-ever whereas Hector has tried to stand up for her and tried to talk to her about it despite only knowing her for a few days because Hector is actually a big softie)

What I like about this conversation is that, usually two people talking to one another stand on opposite sides of the screen. When one character leaves, another will move, but Lyn didn’t move to take Fargus’ spot. That implies then, that they actually are standing quite close together instead of conversing in a more normal way

It’s time for Lyn and Hector’s C-Support! Yeah!

I always wonder who taught him how to speak because he’s SO casual which is weird considering how much time he spent hanging out with Eliwood (and presumably tutors??)

I always appreciate that he’s not a sexist jerk (very few people are, in FE) but it makes me laugh b/c, by FE’s own rules, Swordsmen usually do QUITE WELL against Axe-wielders like Hector. Not to mention Lyn is level 14 and he’s only level 9 so yeah. Lyn would destroy him.
