Anyway, look what I found this weekend!

Funny story, I found the pattern a few weeks ago and was like “I need to finish that sometime” but then when I found the stitch itself I couldn’t find the pattern XD

I did locate it and I am now hard at work again.

Start Date: 8/13/16

Completion Date: 10/10/16

Total Time: 89 hours and 30 minutes

It’s finally done! I’m so freaking happy with how it turned out and this was a great creative exercise, and I’m much more comfortable with my ability to pick out colors that complement each other! Sadly within the time frame, there’s at least a total of 3 weeks overall that I didn’t work on it, so I’m going to be adding a “Number of Days” stat from now on to mark exactly how many days I’ve done! The original pattern is from the wonderful @lanonima! I can’t wait to frame this baby next month!

Oh my god this is amazing! It looks way better than mine. I absolutely love the way you did the tail – 100% gorgeous!

Sadly pics for this project may be either few and far between or just look awful because I have yellow/orange lighting in my house, not white/blue so it gets this horrible tint and I can’t go outside because this is Georgia and mosquitoes kill

On that note this project is proving to be a battle and it’s going very slowly. Why? Because Dana knew she needed a scroll frame and did not buy one and despite over-measuring to ensure I’ll have enough space for framing, I’m much too nervous to trim it so I’m fighting with a full 15×18 loose canvas here which I haven’t worked with in a very very long time, so progress IS happening but uh…much slower than anticipated. I’m going to get my mom to give me a second look on measurements so I can finally trim a few inches off this thing because we are just too exhausted to go back to a big town to pick up the right scroll frame////

Also! Pattern for this project is by the awesome @lanonima

Oh my god someone is making one of my patterns!!!!

Please keep me updated on the project, I’d love to see what colors you chose and what it all looks like when it’s done!
