I wind it on clothes pegs. This way keeps away from the bobbins and still looks really pretty.

So do you label those individually? The one I’m working on right now has so many tiny sections that I have quite a few extra floss sections lying around.

so question for the embroidery folks

I recently started working with bobbins and this is my first project with bobbins as opposed to baggies for my floss.

what do you guys do with the extra floss you can’t use yet to keep it organized? I’ve been looping it through the hole in the bobbin but it seems a bit messy.

The Mystery Stitch has begun and I hate this pattern already because of how many groups of only 1-3 stitches it has. Rude.

I’ll start on the bottom border tomorrow. After that it’s time for “mystery cross stitch pattern I found deep in my computer drives”. Yay!

Since it’s actually been a while since I’ve done cross-stitch frequently, a lot of you might not know how awesome I am.

So I’ve found some of the projects I’ve designed and completed over the years. Not all of them, though. I’m missing my mermaid (which I SWEAR I took a picture of???), the one I made for @almedha b/c I’m a dumbass and didn’t take a photo of it before I mailed it, and also The Biggun, which is not completed yet and also I have no idea where it is. Oops.

I like to design my own! But I also have a lot of patterns I’ve bought so I’ll probably work on some of those next XD

I do also have a Sailor Moon pattern I’m working on but I’m not sure how long that will take me so you guys shouldn’t expect to see it anytime in the near future.

The top border is almost complete. The letters will take me a little longer due to gradient but hopefully this will be a relatively fast project.
