Yes! I literally only stitch on 18 or 20 count Aida. Fuck those fabric snobs!

Especially if you’re working on anything bigger than a few inches, 18 ct or higher is the way to go! It gives you more control and more detail and just looks better!!

Opinion time!

I’m going to cross stitch our school logo onto a sweatshirt but I’m stuck between the actual logo (red and black) or a modified logo (red and gray). The hoodie I bought was black.

Which do you prefer?

It would be one thing to take some obscure size and say they should make more with it, but I feel like 14 and 18 are the most common stitch sizes so they should be treated equally

18 ct is not that crazy of a thing to ask for.

Somewhere you wrote something about a phoenix cross stitch. Did you ever get that done?

I assume you mean the little mythology babies I was doing? No, I haven’t gone back to that. I was going to do 9 squares or so and then make a quilt with them but I think I need to re-evaluate the project and make some adjustments. Sorry!

If/when I do it I’ll make the patterns available. The gryphon, unicorn, and dragon that I did before are available for free on my blog. Somewhere.

I think I’m close to halfway for the first page of the pattern. Page 1 of 9…

I skipped that one at the top because that is the ONLY stitch of that color on this entire page miss me with that bullshit I’ll come back to it later.

Yeah, you can write the number on the peg with a sharpie, or draw the symbol.
