As it turns out, when you weigh only a single pound there isn’t much of a line between “skipping a meal” and “starving to death”. For some reason he didn’t eat his food last night and so his blood sugar went WAY down. If he pulls through we’ll be feeding him more wet food and soak his dry food in milk to try and fatten him up, and make sure he actually eats it.
(and honestly I did wonder about it but the ad said “she” so I just put it aside. Whatever. Lord Isabeau still works)

I’m starting with WordReference (and making liberal use of my Italian friend) and going to the English version only if I can’t figure it out that way. I think relying on the English too much will make it so I’m not actually remembering what I’m reading and the whole effort will be pointless.
