TO BE FAIR this is at least a more fitting look than the ones we’ve seen him in before (this is his True Face I guess)

also to be fair I actually hate the King a lot more than I hate this guy, at least the Prince Without a Name never acts like he’s doing the right thing (or gets praised for it) and his complete disregard even for his allies is kind of interesting.

god it looked so bad like the back slope was so exaggerated even when it was walking that it looked unhealthy. Probably training and not anything medical but that’s not the way it looked.

Personally I was rooting for the American Staffordshire Terrier since it seems like it doesn’t usually win. Honestly the whole winner circle line up seemed pretty weird this year!

yeah it made literally every party member feel like a badass. plus the gba RNG was a little less affected by additional factors so every crit you were just like YES THANK YOU instead of ‘aw man i was trying to weaken that one so that i could get that other unit some exp’

that’s true! though I still am trying to weaken people, sometimes. and there’s always the “why the fuck did you critical that dude with 1hp but not the one with full health” moments XD

i always felt the same love for assassin crits but yeah, the magical crits were always pleasantly over the top. i miss unique crit animations…

there’s a certain amount of enjoyability about the crits in Awakening (specifically) but overall I definitely prefer unique animations. And other than Titania’s incredible axe crit, all of the best ones were GBA in my opinion
