So is Rath like…dead by the events of Binding Blade? I mean they don’t talk about him at least from what I’ve seen so far.

most likely yes, the kutolah nearly get massacred during the events of binding so its entirely possible that he (and lyn if she has one of her endings of going back to the plains) are some of the unfortunate victims of the massacre.

of course, its also just a problem of binding blade being made first and blazing sword being a prequal.

Yeah, I think Rath was killed by not existing in canon before, and thus not being able to mentioned in game. 

S’all good. I was thinking like “not recently dead” otherwise Sue would have been more upset instead of only mentioning her grandfather. Whether or not Rath was mentioned by name is irrelevant since she still, you know, had parents at one point.

I guess they’ve both been dead for a while.

well this is Lano Canon ™ and I already decided Lyn died of an illness (Ostia does seem to have a lot of those). Maybe there was just another plague. Healing staves don’t seem to do fuck all for illness.

So anyway every year Lyn and Hector went to visit Sacae with Lilina and sometimes they went to visit Rath and, as always happens when your parents visit their friends who also have kids, Lilina and Sue were pushed off together.

It was really awkward and they were not necessarily friends.

I imagine Lyn dies of an illness probably when Lilina is 8-9 or so, and after that there was only one more trip to Sacae which went badly for everyone involved and neither she nor Hector ever mentioned it again.

She’s surprised to see Sue travelling with Roy, and at first is kind of reserved. But they’ve both suffered losses recently, and they end up actually connecting at a level they were not able to do before, and help each other grieve.

And they fall in love over the course of the support conversations they should have had and get married and live happily ever after the end.

Anyway Lilina marries Sue and they adopt Fae, definitely.

I went and looked up her ending to see how much Canon I have to disregard but it basically says she wasn’t heard from again SO kiddo got a “human” name probably, very sneaky, and had a totally great life not locked in a small bedroom in the middle of a hidden city in an inhospitable desert because that is the worst.

I don’t draw fanart except for a cute lesbian ship that has literally no basis in reality other than “this is what I want” also it was a good chance to do more ridiculous clothing design and then hate myself while coloring. Yay! (jk I most have fun)

I tried to make Lilina’s hair teal b/c her mom is Lyn and that was a comedy of errors because I don’t actually have a teal marker. In the end I ended up using colored pencil to try and fix it oops.
