huddling together for warmth

oh holy shit right to the Good Stuff ™ I mean the better question is who wouldn’t I use this one on

for fandom stuff probably Ike/Soren if I ever drag myself away from writing Elibe

for original stuff I actually used this as a way to kick of the romance in my fantasy cross-country dog-sledding romance novel Under the Midday Moon which I really need to do some more work on.

Hm… first five letters of your username!

Well I have two N’s in there so I’m gonna skip the second N and go for the next letter:

L – Lyndis from Blazing Sword. No one is surprised. I love her, how dedicated she is to her friends and becoming stronger so she can protect everyone important to her.

A – Aida. I really love the Aida musical okay? (I also like Amneris a lot but hey). I like her emotional struggle, torn between being a good leader to her people and following her heart and how she even manages to be some sort of friends with someone who by all rights should be her enemy (Amneris’ side of this is even more lovely and tragic and I should probably write about her sometime).

N – Naesala from Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn. What, I can like male characters? YES I CAN. Naesala is such a sleazeball loser king but at the same time he loves his people so much??? and he’s trying so hard??? He’s still an asshole but he’s an enjoyable asshole.

O – Ophelia from Hamlet. I don’t know why, but something about her has always really resonated with me. She’s such a tragic character and she deserves way better.

I – Ike from Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn. Ike is such an interesting character and there’s way too much to go into here. Ike is a character with a lot of depth, he’s not as kind or as stupid as people seem to think. Also he’s extremely sarcastic and super gay so how can I say no?

what’s your astrological sign? I’m a Pisces, through and through.

what’s the best piece of advice you ever received? Not really “advice” but Shel Silverstein’s poem “Put Something In” has always been a line of thinking I’ve followed in my life.

when’s the last time you followed your instincts? Probably whenever the last time I was driving and had to make a decision about what exit to take, or what direction to turn (protip: I’m always wrong). But I also rely heavily on instincts when I’m writing!

what’s your favorite food? Oh, I have so many! I love soup, especially vegetable soup or beef stew. And fruit too. My favorite fruit is watermelon!

what’s your secret dream? If I ever end up a rich and famous author, I want to buy a vacation home somewhere in Italy, so I can go there all the time.
