So my very oldest art was, sadly, sent to the trash but only slightly younger than that is the actual, physical scrapbook I made of my art (and my friend’s art which I will not share with you) and I keep it because it amuses me so behold:

Supposedly the oldest thing I have but I’m pretty sure this is actually from 2004, not 2001, since early 2004 is when I joined TLKFAA and I didn’t start to draw people until after that.

redraw, I guess! (did I fudge the numbers to make it look better? WHO KNOWS)

As for the aforementioned horses and lions, this is basically all I drew for about 2/2.5 years:

(this one is obviously (to me) inspired by my friend Devin’s art at the time – her art was always a little closer to actual TLK style than mine)

And I’m not sure why I decided to make Vegas green for a small stretch of time, here is him restored to his original colors:

Gryphons, because of course there are gryphons:

And then I found these, aka the very first things I ever drew with markers! Cool!

I distinctly remember getting in trouble for that lion picture because I didn’t know that markers bleed and I got ink all over my previously white desktop.

Empress Tristira, First of her Name, Born Under the Sign of the Destroyer.

Who definitely gets her shitbag dad taxidermied so she can laugh at him.

Some day I’ll draw a picture of Bird that I like and then I can draw both of my cursed ForeverYoungs together, as they tend to be.

haksart:

The cover is done! I still have the insides to finish, which i may share some details, but the book will have to be bought to see them in all their glory. (Plus the book is amazing so… good reason to read that too)

OH YEAH LOOK AT MY CUTE BOOK COVER

Hawk is the best this looks so adorable!

We’re on track to publish this year *thumbs up*

Playing around with tattoo designs for Kradhi.

Laero are so big into spirit animals and nature spirits that I imagine they tattoo their kids to resemble the animal guides (hence her stripes and spots). They probably also use a lot of religious imagery but I don’t have religious symbols for Laer developed yet so that’s not there.

Her other arm is more bragging type. The chercov is the king of the animal world and that’s Kradhi’s spirit animal so naturally she’s gonna flaunt that. I want her right arm to be kind of like the Siberian Princess in tattoos except it’s all the animal spirits with the snowlion at the top.

Laero tattoos are actually scarification (usually done with a blade made from antler or bone) with ink made from norwood leaves rubbed into the wounds before they heal. So they’ll be blue/green/teal depending on the season the tattoos are done.

I’ll have to figure out the specifics later and also draw Retta’s tattoos as well. Which I think I’ve already done but Whatever.

Also just for Kaze she’s smiling, sort of. 🙂
