More of a coup than anything else XD probably just some mid level military backed by some rich kid who has no ties to the country (yet)

hey a revolution is a revolution, even if it’s small and fails completely as this one did. If you’re going against an established hereditary monarchy with no other heirs, then removing the person in power can only mean society-wide revolution eventually.

Silverwood is so wild like here are some things that are happening around the same time:

Charlie is picking up guys in skeevy bars and blowing his inherited money on a revolution which fails and his punishment for attempted treason is to be put in charge of a boarding school for delinquents.

Cyan is a highly respected and publicly adored stage actress but also she smuggles body parts for people who want to do black magic.

Gavin is dating a famous opera singer and also running a highly successful criminal empire so spends his life walking a very tight line between “what he needs to do” and “what people absolutely cannot see him do”.

Keir accidentally becomes king of a country he doesn’t even live in but is too busy Indiana Jones-ing it around the world to even spend more than a few weeks doing official business and even when he is in town he spends most of it giving lectures.

Ro is living in the wilderness with a bunch of sheep working as a medicine woman and also somehow rebelling against a country on the other side of a continent that she hasn’t lived in since she was 14.

Bonus round:

Kaite ‘kidnaps’ a princess and they elope to live in a small flower-covered cottage in the woods but also she works for Gavin and is his executioner/clean-up girl.

I’ve been wondering this for quite a while now, and I would really like to see what people here actually think. The stories don’t have to be great or amazing – just say which ones you feel are good (or better).

Bonus sleepy Gwendal from last night. Of course I couldn’t use my computer at all but that’s fine.

There’s a whole subplot of Silverwood that I’ve never talked about which is this:

After Ithea murders Lasifar, she goes to Cylli and joins Drezhein society, as we know, and Anthem goes back to his original master’s manor house and loses himself in research, as we know. But Ithian.

Ithian takes over the country. Just all of Tesara.

After he and Ithea have their battle to the death, Tesara falls to his wife, then later his daughter Anise which is heresy because Women Can’t Do Things In Tesara but she’s not about to take some shit from a bunch of rabble-rousing peasants. So she’s the queen.

And later, she marries Keir. Which means that when he’s actually at home and not off exploring previously undiscovered locales and banging his way through their populations, he’s a god damn royal consort.

Also as promised @faceheightknifefight a bountiful offering of me walking through the house taking various photos. Even Illy stood still (mostly) for these!
