also man Etheria is just wrecking the kingdoms right now. Arcandida has fallen. In the forest kingdom, so many trees have been struck by lightning that they’ve had to leave. In the island kingdom, they’ve taken refuge in the lighthouse because the waves are so destructive and intense. In the desert kingdom there are sand storms so intense that people can’t leave their homes.

Damn girl. She’s done more damage than the last three witches combined.

OKAY SO. Etheria.

Unlike the other witches who chose to enter Mai Nominata’s power, Mai Nominata literally kidnapped Etheria. When Etheria wouldn’t give in to her demands, Mai Nominata forced her to become a witch.

She, like Acquaria, was also tortured by Mai Nominata for her rebellious attitude (it makes sense apparently she and Acquaria were super close friends)

What drew Mai Nominata to her was her love of knowledge, and even now she continues to be the most studious and continues to do research.

Also I just love her stupid rivalry with Cyneria.

I love Yara and Samah at this point are like…waiting dispassionately for the next big scary monster they’ll have to face. They’re so Done with the witches’ castle it’s hilarious
