I can’t believe this series, which I bought on a whim, which is completely ridiculous and nonsensical and at times very poorly written has managed to emotionally destroy me so completely

my heart is literally pounding when I read these and if it weren’t for the fact that I can’t read Italian for more than a few hours without getting a headache I would probably do nothing but read them until I finish the series

These books can never be simple but anyway they’re on a quest to find some magic water to render the Book of Witches legible so they can find the song to call the unicorns who are the only beasts capable of reaching the witches’ castle and none of that matters because look at the cute wolf he’s so happy to be going with them!!!!

aw hell yeah – this is exactly the kind of content I signed up for when I started reading this series.

It is entirely possible that Neil is the prince – if he went crawling back to the witches for help after failing, Mai Nominata might well have imprisoned him.

It’s also entirely possible that he’s someone we haven’t met yet, since we still have 3 books to go.
