in light of the new Genealogy banner, here are the top three betrayals of Genealogy re: Celtic myths that drive me nuts
1: Putting a character named after Cu Chulainn in the game but giving his legendary weapon (the Gae Bolg) to another character entirely
2: Deirdre is clearly named after Deirdre of the Sorrows and her story arc has elements of both that story and also the Pursuit of Diarmuid, and yet while there are characters named Diarmuid and Naoise (Deirdre’s lover) in the game, she instead marries Sigurd/Arvis
3: Speaking of the Pursuit of Diarmuid, there’s a character named after him, and reference to a character named after his lover (Grainne) but she is married to Eldigan for some reason
