True but even among FE, Genealogy is weird…the game mechanics are pretty different than anywhere else XD
Still, some things remain the same
Even the one-off mini-bosses make you feel guilty in this game. But also your dad was an asshole so I don’t actually feel bad.
Lester is Sue 2.0
he’s not given nearly enough development or personality for a character who is such a goddamn powerhouse
like he’s as strong as the main trio, but he gets like, 3 lines in the whole game Maybe
*axe-wielding unnamed randos spawn in near lester, ‘another one bites the dust’ begins to play*
I SWEAR TO GOD IT’S EXACTLY LIKE THIS
Lester against a mini-boss.
Plus he has 12 movement and 9 resistance. Enough speed to avoid most attacks and double attacks, enough health to weather pretty much anything. He’s almost, but not quite, unstoppable.
Me @ literally anyone who tries to attack Lester: literally why would you do that you know he’s going to destroy you
So I don’t post very much serious analysis on here because I’m on tumblr to have a good time but sometimes I do and anyway before you argue with me or try to change my mind please consider:
I have written somewhere between 23 and 59 novels depending on whether you count new drafts or not.
I KNOW A LITTLE SOMETHING ABOUT STORIES.
I also know how I interact with media, the sort of things I like, the sort of things I look for, and how I generally interpret stuff.
I don’t mind people discussing things with me. I don’t mind if people don’t interpret things the way that I do. Just don’t swoop in all uppity thinking you can change my mind because you can’t.

I did enjoy it the first time but the more I watched it the more ‘wrong’ the ending seems to me from a narrative perspective. It just doesn’t add up imo…but also I love tragedies as we all know so *shrug*
