So we’re starting off following Yara and Samah as they wander around Castellobliquo aka the witches’ castle.

But our first illustration is one of Acquaria’s little henchfishmen which is decidedly odd since she was defeated three books ago. Does this mean she’s finally awake?

Quick reminder because I needed one as well:

Yara and Samah are trapped in the witches’ castle because someone (Yara) literally never chills or bothers to think things through

Nives is pregnant not feeling well but probably still going to kick some ass (I swear to god she better be pregnant or I will personally fly to Italy and sue you for this missed opportunity, Tea, see if I don’t)

Kalea and Diamante are ??? doing something who knows and/or cares

The witches are all useless lesbians who have been manipulated by Mai Nominata and now have been tortured so thoroughly that they’re afraid to even talk when she’s roaming the halls but are not too afraid to break into her super special magic dungeon while she’s gone and have high school mystery club-esque adventures because they’re also all dumb as shit. I love and support them.

There’s a mysterious stranger in the desert who might possibly be local shitheel, the nameless prince, who is supposedly in a magical coma but I don’t believe that for a second

I know I still have some redesign requests to get to but I’ve been thinking about these boys a lot recently.

I know I sketched this same sketch back in the day and felt like redrawing it, but now I can’t find the original. Probably would have been back in 2013/2014 given some of the design choices I remember.

I’m still no good at drawing kisses but I still don’t care lol.

EDIT: I finally found the original one which I clearly drew for Christmas in 2013. I think my art has improved. Izare’s design definitely has though Mahesha always looks more or less the same plus or minus the inclusion of certain shape-shifter reveals.
