Remind me how I got to the end of Fire Emblem by only training and leveling the characters I really adored. And the rest of them are fodder of one-hit kills.
AAAAA which game did you play?
Also don’t worry, I totally play that way. I end up with a really tiny party of tanks and everyone else is dead. Though I had so much trouble with Radiant Dawn because you can’t play that way that I actually had to start over…
(sorry Fire Emblem is my thing)
No no! It’s completely okay! I’m actually playing the newest one Fire Emblem: Awakening and I’m having so much fun with it! But I’m like at the very last battle, and I have only this little handful of troops who are SUPER op and then everyone else is just pfft dead in one shot! I kind of want to start all over and work for some of the other future kids.
I really wanna get Inigo.
Aa Awakening is really good! I’m actually on my second playthrough already, though it’s taken a backseat to RD atm. I’m doing a lot better with the kids in this one though, for sure.
I know a ton of people who play to keep everyone alive but ehh…what’s the point in that? I don’t want to put up with characters I don’t care about (and to be honest, I feel that Awakening is a little weaker character wise than some other FE games)
Also, yes. I also really want to get Inigo. But I find Olivia so annoying…though I have a history of hating the dancers in FE games, so I might just be biased based on her class…
Yeah I mean there are a couple characters I haven’t leveled at all that I like and would have liked to give a little more attention to but since it was my first play through of Fire Emblem in general, I didn’t want to kill any of them off.
I might be a little more bold about it the next time.
Yeah I understand that! I think I was the same on my first play through…all those years ago! But now I’ve gotten to a point where it’s really easy for me to pick out and level up only characters I care about, and still get all the story aspects I want. Though I have to say I kill off less people in Awakening just because of the kid aspect. Ha!
I do have to ask, though! Are you playing on classic setting or casual setting?
